فرضت نوعية الكتاب في أن يقتصر على أوليات دروس اللغة وبديهاتها التي تلزم الجميع، بدءاً من القارئ العادي، ثم الراغب في الثقافة والمعرفة، وانتهاءً بالمتخصص الذي -بلا شك- سيجد في كتابنا هذا نواة طيبة، يبدأ الكتاب بعرض للجملة الأسمية ومكوناتها، وعلاقة هذه المكونات بعضها ببعض في مختلف المواقع اللغوية، ثم اتبعت ذلك بعرض للجملة الفعلية ومكوناتها، ثم أدرجت بعدهما نائب الفاعل، واكتفينا من التوابع بعرض مبسط للعطف والنعت، ومراعاة لكثرة إستحدام القارئ في حياته العادية، وأثرنا ان نختار المفعول به، ثم التمييز، ثم الإستثناء، والممنوع من الصرف، لما تشتهر به هذه المكونات من كثرة استخدام وجريان على لسان العامة والخاصة من القراء.
وقصرت في شرحي للأساليب على اسلوبي الشرط والإستفهام لما يشغلانه من حيز عريض في الإستخدام اليومي، ثم عمدت إلى ابواب الصرف، وذلك دون فصل واضح، فتناولت إسناد الفعل للضمائر، والمبني للمجهول والمبني للمعلوم، لارتباط الأخير نائب الفاعل، ثم الهمزة بنوعيها، ومواطن كتابتها، ثم علامات الترقيم لما لها من أثر على ما يكتب القارئ او ما يرغب في أن يكتب، ومن أجل تعميق فهم كل جزئية من الجزئيات السابقة، عمدنا إلى وضع تدريبات متنوعة عقب كل جزئية، كمحاولة لتثبيت استيعاب ما ورد بها من قواعد، ثن أضفنا قائمة من الجموع التي ترد على لسان الجميع في محاولة لدفع القارئ إلى أن يتجنب مواطن الزلل والخطأ فيما يسمع من مفرد أو جمع.
