الطرطوشي (451 - 520 هـ = 1059 - 1126 م)
محمد بن الوليد بن محمد بن خلف القرشى الفهرى الأندلسي، أبو بكر الطرطوشى، ويقال له ابن أبى رندقة: أديب، من فقهاء المالكية، الحفاظ.
من أهل طرطوشة Tortosa بشرقي الأندلس.
تفقه ببلاده، ورحل إلى المشرق سنة 476 فحج وزار العراق ومصر وفلسطين ولبنان، وأقام مدة في الشام.
وسكن الإسكندرية، فتولى التدريس واستمر فيها إلى أن توفى.
وكان زاهدا لم يتشبث من الدنيا بشئ.
من كتبه (سراج الملوك - ط) و (التعليقة) في الخلافيات، خمسة أجزاء، وكتاب كبير عارض به إحياء علوم الدين للغزالي، و (بر الوالدين) و (الفتن) و (الحوادث والبدع - ط) و (مختصر تفسير الثعلبي - خ) و (المجالس - خ) في الرباط .

ألف الطرطوشي كتابه الحوادث والبدع بعد عام 480هـ، أي منذ حوالي ألف عام من الآن، وما من شك بأن ما نراه الآن من بدع غريبة تعيش بيننا ونحن على مشارف القرن الحادي والعشرين يتطلب منا وقفة تأمل ومراجعة لكل ممارساتنا الحياتية التي يبدو أن أكثرها غارق في البدع والضلال التي تؤدي بدورها إلى الكفر والتكفير حيث نلاحظ بأنه لم يبق لنا ضابط يضبط لنا أفكارنا أو أفعالنا، وذلك بعدما اختلطت المفاهيم والقناعات وأضحى لكل فقيه أو متفقه طلابه الخاصون وإتباعه الذين لا يرون الحق والحقيقة إلا من خلاله ويناصبون في الوقت ذاته العداء لكل من خافه الرأي، مما جعلنا في النهاية تشكك بكل فقيه أو مجتهد، ونكفر في أحيان كثيرة أجل علمائنا أو تسفههم بتحريض شيطاني بات ينخر في عقولنا ويعمي قلوبنا وأفئدتنا عن رؤية الحق والحقيقة مما أتاح لبعض المغرضين أو ذوي الغايات أن يقولوا على الدين بما ليس فيه.
ولهذا كان لا بد لنا من وقفة جديدة متأنية، نراجع فيها القرآن الكريم ونتفقهه كما يجب، ونتفهم بالتالي السنة الشريفة، ونجعل من الكتاب والسنة منهجاً للفهم المتعمق، ونبعد كل الأفكار الطفيلية التي دخلت علينا كبدع رأيناها مستحبة في البداية وأدركنا بعد فوات الأوان بأنها تطغى على أصول الدين وغاياته، وفائدة هذا الكتاب تتجلى في كونها المحرك الأساسي لفعل ما يتوجب علينا تجاه البدع المستحدثة، راجين أن تكون قد وفقنا لما نصبوا إليه.
