قدم الشيخ "محمد الدسوقي المالكي" حاشيته على شرح المحقق "أبي الليث السمرقندي" والذي بدوره كان قد قدمه على الرسالة العضدية للقاضي عضد الدين عبد الرحمن بن أحمد، والحاشية يحتويها هذا الكتاب ومعها حاشية السيد "محمد الحفناوي الشافعي" على الشرح المذكور مفصولًا بينهما، أما عن هامش الكتاب ففيه شرح العلامة أبي الليث السمرقندي على الرسالة العضدية، وبهذا يجتمع للرسالة العضدية في هذا الكتاب ثلاثة شروح متتالية، منها ما جاء شارحًا على متنها، ومنها ما جاء حاشية على شرح لها.
