لما رأيت بعض من لا خلاق لهم يعترض على طريقة شيخنا "رضي الله عنه" وأرضاه لجهلهم بمداركه للكتاب والسنة وأقوال الأئمة الهداة ورأيت كتب الطريقة الأحمدية التجانية ذات الفضائل الجمة والمواهب اللدنية يصعب على بعض الإخوان مراجعتها، ويعسر عليهم أخذ أحكام الطريق منه ومعرفتها، حتى إن بعضهم طلب مني جمع كتاب في ذلك، يكون سهل التناول واضح المسالك، شرعت مستعينًا بحول الله وقوته، ومستندًا إلى فضله ومنته في وضع كتاب مشتما على إيضاح ما في طريقة شيخنا ذي الفيوضات الرائقة، وجامع لما طلبه بعض الإخوان من الأوصاف السابقة يكون إن شاء الله بغية المستفيد وجيشًا يحارب كل شيطان مريد مرتبًا له على مقدمة وثمانية أبواب، راجيًا إتمامه من الكريم الفتاح الوهاب: المتقدمة في سبب دخولي الطريقة التجانية، والباب الأول في التعريف بشيخنا ذي الأسرار الإلهية، والباب الثاني في ذكر بعض الأجوبة عما يعترض به على طريقته الغراء، والباب الثالث في ذكر آداب المريد مع نفسه وشيخه وإخوانه وصفة المقدم وما يلزمه التخلق به من الصفات الحسناء، والباب الرابع في ذكر شروط الطريقة الأحمدية، والباب الخامس في ذكر ألفاظ أذكارها اللازمة السنية، والباب السادس في ذكر شرح ألفاظ الوظيفة، ومنه يعلم شرح ألفاظ الورد، والباب السابع في ذكر بعض كرامات شيخنا القطب الفرد، والباب الثامن في ذكر فضل الأذكار اللازمة لطريقه وفضل المتعلقين به "رضي الله عنه" وأرضاه وجعلنا من خاصة أصحابه الأكابر الهداة، وسميته: الفتح الرباني فيما يحتاج إليه المريد التجاني.
