تتناول مباحث هذا الكتاب معالم النسق العلمي لعلم النفس الظاهري عند ابن حزم، ومدى تواصل هذا النسق العلمي عبر تيار الفكر البشري مع نسق علم النفس المعاصر. وخاصة لدى المدرسة الظاهرية المعاصرة، حيث تناول المبحث الأول نظرية المعرفة والدراسات النفسية قبل ابن حزم، أما المبحث الثاني فيتناول نظرية المعرفة والدراسات النفسية عند ابن حزم، ثم يعالج المبحث الثالث النسق الفكري لعلم النفس الظاهري عند ابن حزم يليه المبحث الرابع الذي اختص بأنماط الفهم والتأويل في علم النفس الظاهري عند ابن حزم ويختص المبحث الخامس بالكشف عن معالم التنميط والتحليل الظاهري للشخصية، ويتناول المبحث السادس المعرفة الظاهرية للأنا في الأنت، أما المبحث السابع فيعالج علم النفس الظاهر والتواصل الفكري، أما المبحث الثامن فيختص بالكشف عن معالم العلاج الظاهري للمشكلات النفسية عند ابن حزم ، وأخيراً يأتي المبحث التاسع فيتناول العلاج الظاهري للمشكلات النفسية في علم النفس العاصر.
