لَمْ تعْد قُرنِيتا عينيّ تَكفيانني لأرى الحياةَ ورديّةً... أضحيتُ كضريرةٍ لا أُبصِر النّور، لا أتحسس الحياة، وكلّما حاولتُ سحبَ الحبل السِريّ للألمِ لأنالَ بِرأسِهِ أرانِي عاجِزة، والحُزن يعزلني لألفِ عام... أبحثُ بنهمٍ عن مخرجِ طوارئٍ أُطلِقُ عَبرَهُ صدَى صرخةٍ مكبوتةٍ، في صدورِ المكفوفين لِلعالم المُتوحِش الّذي ينظُر إليهم نظرةً دونيّةً سخيفةً تُرَدُّ إلى مُعتقداتهم الباليّة المُهترِئة.
كُنتُ أسمع أنينَ الضرير يخرجُ مع كلّ تنهيدةٍ خائفاً متلمساً الجدران والطرقات بصديقته العصا، متحسِساً خطوات وأنفاس الأشخاص حوله كي لا يصطدِم به وكأنّهُ طفلٌ تائِهٌ يحاوِل اجتياز الجميع لِلوصول إلى برّ الأمان، إلى حُضن أمّه.
تلك المشاهِد تحوّلت إلى شوكةٍ في حلقي تجرحني وتمزقني كُلّما انهمرت دموعي أسفاً عليه، إلى ان بصقتها قصةً تحملُ بين دياجيرها ألفَ أملٍ وضُعف، ألفَ حُزنٍ وبِشر، ألفَ وحدةٍ وحُبّ...
