ومؤلف هذا الكتاب الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد عبد الرحمن أحمد، خريج جامعات الخرطوم وكاليفورنيا، وحاصل على الدكتوراه من جامعة بنسلفانيا، كلية وارطون، أقدم كلية لإدارة الأعمال في العالم.
درس بجامعات دركسل وفسك وبنسلفانيا بالولايات المتحدة، وجامعات الخرطوم، والملك سعود بالشرق الأوسط، نشر في كبرى المجلات الأكاديمية العالمية والعربية، وأعيد نشر بعض مقالاته في كتب، واختيرت أخرى ضمن أكثر المقالات إستشهاداً بها.
عمل رئيساً لقسم إدارة الأعمال بجامعة الخرطوم، ومستشاراً بالهيئة العامة للإستثمار بالكويت، كما قدم إستشارات مهنية لمؤسسات إقليمية وشركات محلية مختلفة، كذلك عمل أستاذاً لإدارة الأعمال الدولية بجامعة الملك سعود التي منحته درجة الأستاذية، والتي تُعد أول درجة أستاذية في إدارة الأعمال الدولية التي تمنحها جامعة عربية، حالياً يعمل بجامعة الكويت.
