دفن ببلدة أنجرة (بين طنجة وتطوان) له كتب كثيرة، منها (البحر المديد في تفسير القرآن المجيد - خ) في أربعة مجلدات ضخام، بدئ بطبعه وصدر جزء منه [ثم طُبع كاملا] ، و (أزهار البستان - خ) بالخزانة الزيدانية بمكناس، لم يتمه، في طبقات الأعيان المالكية، ومنه مخطوطة في خزانة الرباط (286 ك) مصورة في معهد المخطوطات (1352 تاريخ) و (شرح القصيدة المنفرجة - خ) و (شرح صلوات ابن مشيش - خ) و (تبصرة الطائفة الزرقاوية - خ) و (الفتوحات الإلهية في شرح المباحث الأصلية - ط) و (الفتوحات القدوسية في شرح المقدمة الآجرومية - ط) جمع فيه بين النحو والتصوف، و (فهرسة) لأشياخه، و (إيقاظ الهمم في شرح الحكم - ط)

إن علم التصوف من أجل العلوم قدرا وأعظمها محلا وفخرا فهى باب الشريعة ومنهاج الطريقة وكان أعظم ما صنف فيه (الحكم العطائية ) التى هى مواهب لدينه وأسرار ربانية وقد قيل عن حكم العطاء انها كادت أن تكون وحيا وهذا الكتاب ما هو إل شرحا للحكم العظائية وقد وضع لها مقدمتين فى شرحها إحداهما فى حد التصوف وموضوعه وواضعه واسمه واستمراره وحكم الشارع فيه وتصور مسائلة وفضيلته ونسبته وثمرته والثانية فى ترجمة الشيخ وذكر محاسنه.
