تضم مواد الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا وثائق هامة عن "إتفاق الدوحة 16-21 أيار 2008، المنبثق عن مؤتمر الحوار الوطني اللبناني والذي دعت إليه ونظمته ورعته دولة قطر برعاية واهتمام مباشر من صاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني أمير قطر ومتابعة حثيثة وتفصيلية من الشيخ حمد بن جاسم بن جبر آل ثاني رئيس الوزراء ووزير خارجية قطر ورئيس اللجنة الوزارية العربية المكلفة بالحالة اللبنانية للخروج من الأزمة التي عصفت بالبلاد في السنوات الأخيرة.
جاء الكتاب من إعداد الأستاذ "مازن يوسف صباغ" مقسماً إلى ثمانية أقسام:
القسم الأول: يضم الكلمات التي ألقيت في المؤتمر لكل من: الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني، أسماء الوفود المشاركة، تاريخ مؤتمرات الحوار الرئيسية، البيان الذي تلاه أحمد بن عبد الله آل محمود وزير الدولة في قطر، كلمة الشيخ حمد بن جاسم بن جبر آل ثاني، نص إتفاق الدوحة، كلمة عمرو موسى، كلمة الرئيس نبيه بري، كلمة الرئيس فؤاد السنيورة. أما القسم الثاني فيعرض لاتفاقية الفينيسيا التي جرت في 15 أيار 2008، والقسم الثالث يكشف عن المواقف والآراء التي أيدت الإتفاق. أما القسم الرابع فيضم وقائع جلسة مجلس النواب في 15 أيار 2008 وانتخاب الرئيس ميشال سليمان رئيساً للجمهورية اللبنانية، أما القسم الخامس فيه تفاصيل ووقائع زيارة الشيخ حمد بن خليفة أمير قطر لسورية في 30 أيار 2008. ويوثق القسم السادس مقالات وتعليقات ومواقف عدة كتبت في الصحف العربية. أما القسم السابع فيتضمن أسماء أعضاء الحكومة اللبنانية المشكلة نتيجة إتفاق الدوحة. أما القسم الثامن والأخير (ملف خاص) عن زيارة الرئيس اللبناني ميشال سليمان والمحادثات التي جرت يومي الإثنين والثلاثاء 1 و 2 أيلول 2008 مع الشيخ حمد أمير قطر.
