هذا الكتاب من الكتب التي حاولت فيها – من خلال الأدلة الكثيرة - أن أبين البراهين الدالة على صدق رسالة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم، وأن كل ما في الكون يدل عليها.
وهي تختص بالخوارق التي خرقها الله تعالى لرسوله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم، كما خرقها قبل ذلك لرسله عليهم الصلاة والسلام، لتكون دليلا على توليتهم من الله تعالى لذلك المنصب الخطير الذي من خلاله يعرّفون بالله، وبالطريق إليه، وبحقائق الوجود.
وقد رجعت لإثبات ذلك إلى كل المصادر التي نقلت الخوارق المختلفة سواء لدى هذه الأمة أو لدى من قبلها من الأمم، وخصوصا اليهود والنصارى، ولهذا قارنت بين كل نوع من أنواع الخوارق مع مثيلاته لدى المسيح عليه السلام خصوصا، ولدى أنبياء بني إسرائيل عموما، وذلك لإثبات أن رسالة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم لا تختلف مع سائر الأنبياء عليهم الصلاة والسلام، كما قال تعالى: ﴿ قُلْ مَا كُنْتُ بِدْعًا مِنَ الرُّسُلِ﴾ [الأحقاف: 9]
