"تحت أية مظلة سنلتقي لنقول شفاهنا؟ وفي أي منحنىً سنسيل مثل مرطبات الصبية لنضرب بعضنا بضمير الأصابع؟ (أنت درويش بربطة عنق). أجل.. صدقت!! ربما نتأخر عن الموعد قرناً آخر تعرفين.. لحية الشارع لها أوامرها أيضاً والعباءة تخاف علينا من مطر الفضائح ورصاص الخطيئة تعرفين... لا يمكننا أن نكفر بإشارات المرور الأزلية!! فهي تحافظ على حياتنا مستقيمة ببضاء جافة لا ضوءاً فيها ولا عليها.. إنها مسلة الجموع محفورة في العظام كاغتصاب قاهر... أعلم أن لن يكون في مسافتنا المرصودة هذه... وفي قفص الساعات هذا أكثر من تهاويم مشوهة عن العطب المتناسل في عربة الوطن نقتل به غزالة القبلة وحرائق الصدور إجماعاً مع الضجيج على اعتقال الرغبة وإعلان العطش ملكاً أبدياً تحصد عيونه السرية هواجس العشاق.. ودواوينهم... العبارة أخطر من أن تقص أو أن تغنى ولكنها -أبداً- لاجئة إلى عواصم الورق وعصافير الحبر ليتنا لم نزأر بهذه الحروف ليتنا لم نبرح إشاراتنا وسهوبنا الشواء البعيد ما يزال حياً إنه يضحك كلما عصرت برتقالة الذاكره تعرفين... مقعدنا نخسره في قمار لم نشارك به يماماتنا تأفل قصائدنا تسرق من قبضة الخواطر ولا نستطيع أن نلحق بأسمائنا المتعلقة بقطار الشك حبيبتي نحن نشبه طائرات الورق...".
