من المعروف أن النحو لا يقصد لذاته، وكذلك للصرف والتصريف، والإملاء، وإنما كل هذه العلوم جاءت لتخدم متعلم العربية في التعبير عن أفكاره إنشاءً سليماً خالياً من الأخطاء، ومن الغموض في المعاني والفوضى في تنسيق الأفكار وعرضها.
إذاً الإنشاء من أهم أهداف تدريس علوم العربية المختلفة، نعني به إنشاء الجمل الصحيحة، والفقر المتناسقة الجمل، والنصوص المترابطة الفقر الخالية من الأخطاء على اختلافها. وإذا كنا بالمحادثة نكشف عن أفكار التلميذ، وعن مدى استيعابه لما يقرأ أو يسمع، وعن سلامة أسلوبه، وطلاقة لسانه، فإننا بالإنشاء نكشف عن أفكاره، وعن مدى سلامة أسلوبه، وغنى مخزونه اللغوي، وترتيب عباراته، واتجاهات ميوله وعواطفه.
والهدف من سلسلة "المعين في الإنشاء والتحليل" بأجزائه الثلاثة هو مساعدة المعلم أو المربي في عمله التربوي والتعليمي، ولتحقيق أكبر فائدة للطالب تم تقسيم السلسلة كما قلنا على ثلاثة أجزاء ومستويات تتدرج من السهل إلى الصعب، ومن البسيط إلى المركب، منوعة الموضوعات لتشمل الوصف، والترسل، والحوار، والنقد والرحلة، والمقالة، والسرد القصصي، والمناسبات العامة، إلى ما هناك من موضوعات يعيشها التلامذة، ويشاركون فيها.
وبالعودة لأقسام كل جزء نجد أنه قد جاء على قسمين في القسم الأول تم أدراج جملة نصوص محللة، وفي الثاني جملة نصوص للتحليل، منوعين في الأسئلة لتشمل فهم النصوص، وشرح المفردات، وإعطاء المرادفات والأضداد، وتحليل كتابة بعض الكلمات، إلى غير ذلك من قواعد إملائية، وحكم ونصوص للمطالعة وغير ذلك.
