ومن هذا المنطلق، وحرصاً على نشر العلم النافع، فقد توجه اختيارنا لمتن من المتون الشهيرة الذي درس في الأزهر الشريف منذ قرون طويلة، ألا وهو متن "السلم المنورق" للعلامة الأخضري، ووقع اختيارنا أيضاً على شرح العلامة الشيخ أحمد الدمنهوري عليه، الذي امتاز بسهولة العبارة ووضوحها، والبعد عن التطويل والتعقيد، لتيسر النفع به للمبتدئين في دراسة هذا الفن، وقد قدمت هذا الشرح بترجمة للعلامة الشيخ أحمد الدمنهوري، مع إفراد المتن عن الشرح تيسيراً لحفظه، ثم كان التوجه للاهتمام بالشرح بوضع علامات الترقيم التي تساعد على فهم النص، وعزو الآيات، وتخريج الأحاديث، وترجمة الأعلام.
