تذكر ما قاله حين ودعها ، رغم بكائها بدأ يسرد عليها العلامات المميزة لجسده في ساقه وبطنه وبين كتفيه قائلا : في الرحلة السابقة تعرفوا علي الجثث بهذه العلامات ، عشر جثث تنازع عليها أكثر من ثلاثين أسرة من أربع محافظات رغم محاولاته في البقاء بدأ الهبوط إلي أسفل ثم صعد في هلع نظر حوله لعله يجد قطعة خشب أو أي شيء لكنه لم يجد غير الظلام والموج الهادر حانت منه التفاتة إلي الأمام ، لم يكن ينظر إلي الشاطيء أو إلي الذين يصارعون القاع ، لكنه نظر هناك باتجاه الجنوب حيث قريته الصغيرة هناك إلي شوارعها إلي حارته المظلمة التي احتوته طفلا يلهو في ترابه ثم صبيا يختبيء مع الصغار بين انحناءاتها ، ثم شابا ، ثم أجهش بالبكاء تراءت له صورة أمه وأخوته يمدون له أيديهم ، ناداهم مرات ، سمع الحروف تخرج من فمه متقطعة ، شعر بأوتاره الصوتية تهتز كل علي حدة . مد يده إليهم فسقط إلي أسفل .
