"التنكيل بما في تأنيب الكوثري من الأباطيل" كتاب من تأليف العلامة المحقق الشيخ عبد الرحمن ابن يحيى بن علي اليماني بيّن فيه بالأدلة القاطعة والبراهين الساطعة تجني الكوثري على أئمة الحديث ورواته، ورميه إياهم بالتجسيم والتشبيه، وطعنه عليهم بالهوى والعصبية المذهبية، حتى لقد تجاوز طعنه إلى بعض الصحابة، مصرحاً بأن أبا حنيفة رغب عن أحاديثهم، وأن قياسه مقدم عليها. ثم هو إلى طعنه هذا يضعف الثقات من الحفاظ والرواة، وينصب العداوة بينهم وبين أبي حنيفة لمجرد روايتهم عنه بعض الكلمات التي لا تروق لعصبية الكوثري وجحوده المذهبي. وهو في سبيل ذلك لا يتورع أن يعتمد على مثل ابن النديم الوراق وغيره ممن لا يعتمد بعلمه في هذا الشأن. وهو على النقيض من ذلك يوثق الضعفاء والكذابين، إذا رووا ما يوافق هواه! وغير ذلك مما سيطلع القارئ بعلى تفاصيله في هذا الكتاب وقد صدر الكتاب في هذه الطبعة وقد حوى تعليقات في بعض المواطن التي رأى المحققان من الفائدة التعليق عليها.
