لو قارنا اللغة الألمانية باللغة الإنجليزية من ناحية اللفظ، لوجدنا أن لفظ اللغة الألمانية أكثرسهولة وأكثر ثباتاً، أي أن الشذوذ فيه قليل جداً كشأن اللفظ في اللغة العربية. فاللغة الألمانية تكاد تخلو من الشذوذ اللفظي، فلكل حرف صوته الثابت بعكس اللغة الإنجليزية التي تسمى لغة الشواذ، أي أنها لغة يكون فيها الحرف الواحد، أو تشكيلة من الحروف يتطابق مع صوت واحد فقط، ففي معظم الحالات تلفظ اللغة الألمانية كما تكتب. وهناك القليل من الحالات التي يرد فيها اللفظ شاذاً، ومع ذلك فإن هذا الشذوذ لا يكون مربكاً كالحال في اللغة الإنجليزية. وهذا ما يسهل على من يريد إتقان هذه اللغة مهمته هذه. من هنا تأتي أهمية هذا الكتاب الذي يساعد على تعلم اللغة الألمانية. فاللفظ الواضح والدقيق لكل كلمة من الكلمات الواردة في هذا الكتاب والذي تمت كتابته بالحروف العربية يمكن إتقان النطق به من خلال تهجئته لكل الحروف التي بالإمكان معرفة إستعمالها بسهولة عند العودة إلى الجدول المخصص لذلك في مقدمة الكتاب. ولما كان لكل لغة لهجاتها، فكذلك الألمانية لها لهجاتها الخاصة، ولذلك تم في هذا الكتاب إتخاذ لغة المسرح أساسأ للّفظ الصحيح الذي يتفق عليه جميع الألمان وهذا ما يقابل اللغة الفصحى في اللغة العربية. ومن ناحية ثانية فإن هذه النخبة من الكلمات والتعابير التي وردت في هذا الكتاب ستمكن المسافر والسائح الذي يزور ألمانيا والنمسا وشطراً من سويسرا الناطق بالألمانية من تفادي سوء الفهم عند تجواله في جميع الأماكن وأسواق ومسارح ومنتزهات وأماكن تسلية وفي المطاعم والمحال التجارية وغيرها من الأماكن التي لابد للزائر أيّا كان القصد من هذه الزيارة، من إرتيادها. وسيكون بإمكانه محادثة من حوله بشكل سليم وسهل.
