يضع هذا الكتاب القواعد الذهبية لحفظ القرآن الكريم: القاعدة الأولى: الإخلاص. حيث يجب إخلاص النية وإصلاح القصد وجعل القرآن والعناية به من أجل الله سبحانه وتعالى والفوز بجنته. القاعدة الثانية: تصحيح النطق والقراءة. ولا يكون ذلك إلا بالسماع من قارئ جيد وحافظ متقن للقرآن, ولا يؤخذ إلا بالتلقي فقد أخذه رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم من جبريل شفاهاً و كان صلى الله عليه وسلم يعرضه على جبريل كل سنة في رمضان. القاعدة الثالثة: تحديد نسبة الحفظ كل يوم, أي صفحة أو صفحتين على حسب ما تستطيع. القاعدة الرابعة: عدم تجاوز المقرر حتى يتم حفظه جيداً وذلك ليثبت ما تم حفظه بالذهن. القاعدة الخامسة: المحافظة على رسم واحد للمصحف الذي يتم منه الحفظ. القاعدة السادسة: الفهم طريق للحفظ, فإذا فهمت معاني الآيات فيكون الترديد للآيات وفهمها مساندين للحفظ. القاعدة السابعة: عدم تجاوز سورة حتى يربط أولها بآخرها, فإذا تم حفظ سورة لا ينتقل إلى غيرها حتى يقرأها من أولها إلى آخرها مرة أو مرتين حتى يجري لسانه بها بسهولة ويسر. القاعدة الثامنة: التسميع الدائم. فيسمعه لغيره وحبذا لو كان الآخر حافظا متقنا حتى ينبهه لما نسيه أو دون وعي. القاعدة التاسعة: المتابعة الدائمة. قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم والذي نفسي بيده لهو أشد تفلتا من الإبل في عقلها. القاعدة العاشرة: العناية بالمتشابهات حيث أن هناك نحوا من ألفي آية فيها تشابه بوجه ما قد يصل أحيانا حد التطابق أو الإختلاف في حرف واحد أو كلمة واحدة أو إثنين وأكثر فيجب على قارئ القرآن الاهتمام بما تشابه منه لفظيا من الآيات وعلى مدى الاهتمام بها تكون الإجادة في الحفظ.
