حاور معد الكتاب 19 شخصاً مختلفي الهويات من مفكرين وكتاب وحركيين ودعويين من عدد من البلاد العربية، مصر وتونس والسعودية ولبنان والعراق وسورية وغيرها، قدموا رؤيتهم بعد أن سئلوا عما إذا كانوا قد استطاعوا تشخيص ما يحدث من تغييرات بعد الأحداث المذكورة وتحليله وصولاً إلى ما ترتب على ذلك من نتائج، والكيفية التي يمكن بها مواجهة هذه النتائج أو الحد من سلبياتها على العالمين العربي والإسلامي فضلاً عن العالم كله.
تحدث المحاورون عن الديموقراطية والتعددية والعلاقة مع الآخر من خلال ما يحيط بواقع الحركات والجماعات الإسلامية في البلدان المختلفة وتطورها، كما أشاروا إلى فحوى الخطاب الإسلامي المعاصر من الكيان الصهيوني وموضوع السلام المطروح معه.
