هذا الكتاب هو (الجزء الأول) من محاضرات السيد "علي الحسين الشاهرودي" في الفقه الجعفري. وهو في مجموعة محاضرات تلقاها المؤلف في استاذه في مدينة العلم "النجف الأشرف" السيد "أبو القاسم الخوئي" يقدمها للقراء المسلمين لينهلوا من بحر معارفه الذي يمتلئ بأسرار الشريعة، وبما تحتويها من الفائدة. وهي تستند إلى الإخبار اي أنها أحاديث عامة لأهم الفقهاء مثل السيد الطباطبائي وغيره من علماء الدين تتضمن تفسيراً وتحليلاً لمحتواها من قبل مؤلف الكتاب للفقه الجعفري. ومن موضوعات الكتاب نذكر: معنى حرمة الاكتساب، بيع العذرة، جواز بيع الأرواث بيع المني، المعاوضة على الميتة، حرمة التكسب بالخمر وكل مسكر مائع جواز بيع العبد الكافر، حرمة بيع آلات القمار، حرمة بيع آلات اللهو، بيع الدراهم المغشوشة، فساد بيع العنب على أن يعمل خمراً، حرمة بيع السلاح في أعداء الدين، تزيين الرجل بما تحرم عليه، تشبه الرجل بالمرأة والمرأة بالرجل، حكم اقتناء الصور، التنجيم، حرمة سب المؤمن، حرمة السحر، حرمة الغش، حرمة الغناء، حرمة الكذب، حرمة الكهانة، إعانة الظالمين، حرمة النميمة، بيع المصحف، جوائز السلطان، المال المشبه بالحرام، إلى آخر ذلك من أحكام فقهية في المذهب الجعفري جاءت على لسان أبو القاسم الخوئي وبعناية وجمع الشاهرودي.
