إنه يسعدني الكتابة في هذا الموضوع في الوقت الذي يتعرض فيه المسلمون لهجمة شرسة من القوى المعادية للإسلام في الغرب وأمريكا وجميع أنحاء العالم حيث تكالبت علينا الأمم لأننا رضينا بالدنية في ديننا وعندما هان علينا ديننا هنا في أعين الناس، ولكن طالما أننا من المستضعفين فلماذا لا نستخدم عقلنا مرة واحدة لنتعايش مع هؤلاء الأقوياء ليس تحالفًا ضد إخواننا بل صداقة مع جيراننا وليعلم الناس أن الإسلام لم يكن يومًا مصارعًا لغيره بل قوى الشر منذ أن نزل الوحي على رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" هي التي اتحدث على عداوته ومصارعته حتى الحروب التي خاضها المسلمون كانت دفاعًا عن دينهم منذ غزوة بدر حتى احتلال العراق وأفغانستان.
وسنتحدث عن علاقة الإسلام بالغرب المسيحي باعتبار غالبية السكان الذين يدينون بها ونعطي فكرة موجزة عن الديانة اليهودية والمسيحية ونتكلم بالتفصيل عن قصة المسيح عيسى بن مريم وأمه عليهما السلام من وجهة نظر اليهود والمسيحيين والمسلمين لنعلم المنصف من الظالم، ثم نتحدث عن عموم الدعوة الإسلامية للبشر وحديث القرآن عن أهل الكتاب وعلاقة المسلمين بغيرهم والحوار مع أهل الكتاب ونلقي نظرة على التسامح الموجود عند بعض أصحاب هذه الديانات ونقدم فكرة عن الحضارة العربية الإسلامية في أوربا والعلاقة بين الإسلام والغرب بين الواقع والمأمول وأوجه الاتفاق والاختلاف من أجل التعايش السلمي بين جميع الأطراف.
