اخترتُ لقصَّتي هذه أن تخاطبَ أبناءَنا الصِّغار، فتنقل لهم جوانبَ مضيئةً تخصُّ بعضَ معالمِ المدينة المنوَّرة، وتُقَرِّب إلى أذهانهم صُوراً من ماضيها الجليل، وما مرَّ به من أحداثٍ عِظَام، تَرَكَتْ بصماتِها الواضحات في تاريخنا الإسلاميِّ المجيد.
تلك المدينةُ الَّتي لها في قلوب المسلمين في مشارقِ الأرضِ ومغاربها مكانةٌ خاصَّةٌ، جعلتْ منها وجهةً أثيرةً، تتوقُ لزيارتها النفوسُ المؤمنةُ، وتهوي إليها أفئدةُ المُحِبِّين.
إذن، فَلْنُرَبِّ أبناءنا على حُبِّ المدينةِ، ولنغرس في أذهانهم صورَ تاريخها الوضَّاء، ولنذكِّرهم دوماً بما شهدتْه عرصاتُها من أحداثٍ عاصرها الرَّسول الكريم وأصحابه، في بنائهم لذاك المجتمع الجديد، ولنعرِّفهم التي شهدتْ جوانبَ كثيرةً من الأمل تارة، ومن الألم تارة أخرى.
