مررت خلال رحلة حياتى العملية بفترة من أدق الفترات وأكثرها حساسية, حيث عملت مديرا لواحدة من أكبر قري الأطفال فى الشرق بل وفى العالم أجمع, تلك هى قرية الأطفال بالقاهرة (اس.أو.اس) المعنية برعاية اليتامى.
أننى أحمد الله كثيرا اذ أفادنى هذا العمل فى توجيهى لتعميق معلوماتى وتوسيع مداركى حول رعاية اليتامى فى الأسلام والتى شهدتها البشرية منذ اربعة قرون.
واجدنى مطالبا والحال كذلك بعرض خلاصة ما توصلت إليه فى هذا الشان مع محاولة تقديم تصور شخصى للأسلوب الأمثل فى الرعاية الأجتماعية لليتامى بنظرة اسلامية سائلا المولى عز وجل ان يكون فى محاولتى المتواضعة هذه خير للاسلام والمسلمين راجيا ان تكون فى ميزانى ان اصبت, وعزائى صدق النية والاخلاص اذا ما اكتنفها نقص او قصور .
ويقع هذا الكتاب فى فصلين على النحو التالى:
يختص الفصل الأول بموضوع اليتيم فى الأسلام فيستهل بالحديث عن اليتيم وحقوقه على المسلمين لاسلامه, وكذلك رحمة اليتيم لصغره ثم ينتقل الى الحديث عن اليتامى من الصدقة, فاصلاح اليتامى ومخالطتهم, والأكل من مال اليتيم, الاتجار فى اموال اليتامى والزكاة فيها وكذلك النهى عن الأساءة لليتامى, وينتهى الى توضيح امر الزواج من اليتيمات, ويختتم بالحديث عن اللقيط وولد الزنا مع بيان حكمهما فى الأسلام ونظرة الأسلام اليهما.
اما الفصل الثانى فيتضمن توضيح فكرة قري الأطفال (اس.ام.اس) حيث يشتمل على فكرة انشاء قري الأطفال وتطورها ووصف الحياة فيها, وما تحتويه من القائمين على العمل وأدوارهم ومرافقها المختلفة ووظيفة كل منها, ثم ينتهى الفصل الى تعقيب يتناول أهم آرائى فى هذا المشروع.
ويختتم الكتاب بمقترحات أقدمها راجيا أن تحقق رعاية اليتامى بأسلوب اسلامى قويم.
