إن سيرة النبي المصطفى للإمام علي المرتضى من خلال نهج البلاغة، تختلف نوعاً ما، وكما، وكيفاً عن سيرة المتقدمين والمتأخرين؛ فلم يلج أحداً هذا الباب حتى قدر لي الله وبفضله ومنّه الوقوف عليه وفتحه على مصراعيه؛ وما رميت إذ رميت، ولكن الله رمى، لقد كتبت هذه السيرة منذ بضع سنين، وإن حبي العظيم لأعظم شخصية عرفها الوجود النبيّ الأعظم، والرسول الأكرم "محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم" دفعني على أن أقوم بنشرها في مدينة سدني إستراليا حتى تتعرف الناس على سيرته وعظمته من خلال كلام إبن عمِّه أمير المؤمنين الإمام علي رضي الله عنه، الذي لا نظير له، المشتق من كلام كتاب الله عزّ وجلّ.
يقول الأستاذ محمد عبده، شيخ الأزهر الشريف وهو شُراح نهج البلاغة: وبعد، فتصفحت بعض صفحاته، وتأملت جملاً من عباراته، من مواضع مختلفات، ومواضيع متفرقات، فكان يخيل لي في كل مقام...
إن للبلاغة دولة، وللفصاحة صولة... وأن جحافل الخطابة، وكتائب الذرّابة، في عقود النظام، وصفوف الإنتظام، تنافح بالصفيح الأبلج والقويم الأملج، وتمتلج المهج برواضع الحجج... وأحياناً كنت أشهد أن عقلاً نورانياً، لا يشبه خلقاً جسدانياً، فصل على الموكب الإلهي، وأتصل بالروح الإنساني، فخلعه عن غاشيات الطبيعة، وسما به إلى الملكوت الأعلى، ونما به إلى مشهد النور الأجلى.
