كنت موزعاً بين البلاغة التقليدية التي تربيت في أحضانها، ودراستها في الجامعة، وبين البلاغة الحديثة التي أطوق إلى تطبيقها، وتحقيق ما تعلمته منها، ولكني كنت عاجزاً عن تكوين شخصية علمية، قادرة على الإختيار والإضافة، واعية بمسالك الطريق ومزالقه، ومرت بي أزمة فكرية نفسية طاحنة، أريد أن أحقق شيئاً ولكني لا أدري كيف أمسك به؟ كيف أتحكم فيه؟ كيف أعلنه بشكل علمي جدير بالإلتفات إليه؟ ، فهداني الله سبحانه أن أبدأ بداية صغيرة محدودة تضعني على الطريق، وتحول الحلم إلى حقيقة. فكان هذا البحث الجديد فيه أكثر من التقليدي، والحلم فيه أكبر من الواقع، والخطأ فيه وراد، ولكنه يقول شيئاً واضحاً: إن هذا البلاغي يريد أن يجدد، ويعد نفسه ليضيف شيئاً في الدرس البلاغي، إن أخفق فلا ترجموه، فسيقوم من عثرته، ويحاول تصحيح خطته.
