ولأول مرة لم يودّع نعمان أمه في المكالمتين اللتين أجراهما، خرج من القمرة ليتصل بأخيه في وقتٍ لاحق.
جلس مفترشاً أرضية المحل الصلبة والباردة... خلع حذاءيه، وبدأ يتحرك قدميه لينعم بالراحة قليلاً.
حاول بعد مضي ربع ساعة ان يتّصل بالمنزل، وحينما همّ بدخول القمرة قام المصطفّون بمنعه بالقوّة! فأخبرهم أنه كان قد اصطف قبل ذلك، وأنه قد دخل المحل قبلهم لكنه لم يجد الشخص المراد، إلا أن يمينه لم تشفع له حتى حينما أراد أن يستعين بعامل المحل الذي أخرج نفسه من الموقف قائلاً: "تصرّف معهم أنا مهمتي هنا أنا أحاسب المتّصلين، ولست رجل مرور لأنظم السير!"...
عاد أدراجه مرّةً أخرى، ووجد أن الصف ممتلئ أكثر من السابق، اضطر للإصطفاف معهم حتى جاء دوره بعد ساعةٍ من الزمن: "مرحبا... لقمان أين كنت؟"...
