هذا كتاب مجموعة الصرف والذى يحتوى فى متنة خمسة كتب إجتمعت واتفقت فى موضوعها وهو علم الصرف على تعدد مؤلفيها ومصنفيها، وقد جاءت بالترتيب كالتالى: كتاب الشافية فى الصرف وقد تضمن ابنية الفعل الماضى والمضارع والآلة والجمع والمؤنث والمقصود والممدود والإمالة والإعلال والإبدال والإدغال والحذف الاعلالى والترخيمى، تلاه كتاب المراح فى سبعة أبواب تفرع كل منها إلى فصول تناولت الأفعال فى الماضى والمستقبل والأمر والنهى وأسماء الفاعل والمفعول والزمان والمكان. الآلة، كذلك المهموز والمثال الأجوف والناقص واللفيف. أما الكتب الثلاثة الأخيرة فهى على التوالى "كتاب العزى" ثم "كتاب المقصود" وأخيراً كتاب الأمثل "المختلفة"
