هذا كتاب في إنكار بدع القُراء صنفه العلامة الشيخ بركات بن أحمد المعروف بإبن الكيّال، وأتى فيه على جملة من البدع المُحدثة مما وقع فيه قراء زمانه، وتابعهم عليه بعض قراء زماننا.
وبالنظر لأهمية هذا الكتاب فقد إعتنى مشعل المطيري بتحقيقه حيث إهتم: 1-نسخ المخطوط، ثم مقابلة المنسوخ على المخطوط مرة أخرى، تلافياً للخطأ والسقط الواقع في أثناء النسخ. 2-ضبط النصوص الواردة وأسماء الأعلام، وكذا ما رأيت أنه بحاجة إلى ضبط من الكلمات المشكلة. 3-قام بتخريج الأحاديث والآثار، وعزوها إلى مصادرها مابين مطوَّلٍ ومختصر، مع الحكم على أسانيدها، وإن كان هذا في الأحاديث دون كل الآثار. 4-عمل ترجمة للمصنِّف، ثم أتبعها بوصف النسخة المععتمدة في التحقيق، وإثبات نسبة الكتاب إلى مصنِّفه، وعملي في تحقيق الكتاب. 5- للكتاب فهارس، هي: فهرست الأحاديث النبوية، فهرست الآثار، وفهرست الموضوعات.
