تمثل عملية التمويل دوراً هاماً في الحياة الإقتصادية، فهي الشريان الحيوي والقلب النابض الذي يمد القطاع الإقتصادي بمختلف وحداته ومؤسساته بالأموال اللازمة للقيام بعملية الإستثمار وتحقيق التنمية ودفع عجلة الإقتصاد نحو الأمام.
فإذا كانت عملية التمويل بمفهومها العام تعني إنفاق المال، وكان الإستثمار بالمفهوم البسيط يعني إستخدام المال في عمليات إقتصادية بغية الحصول على مردودية أو نتيجة، فإن كل إستثمار يعتبر تمويلاً بالضرورة ولكن التمويل لا يعتبر في كل الحالات إستثماراً.
فالإقتصاد الإسلامي يعطي أهمية بالغة لعمليات التمويل وتحقيق الإستثمار ويتجلى ذلك من خلال فرض الزكاة على الأموال سواء كانت عينية أو نقدية وذلك حتى يقل الإكتناز.
وبالتالي عدم تعطيل الموارد والوسائل الخاصة بدفع وتيرة الإستثمار، فالزكاة في الإقتصاد الإسلامي تعتبر أحسن وأبلغ أداة في الكون كله، ومحفزاً للإستثمار في نظرة الإسلام والمسلمين طبعاً، فالمسلم يستثمر حتى ولو كانت نسبة العائد أقل من نسبة الزكاة أي اقل من 2.5% لأنها بالمقابل تعد أحسن مقياس موزع للدخل القومي، وإذا لم يستثمر هذه الأموال فسوف تزول بسبب إمتصاص الزكاة، وعليه يتوفر الإقتصاد الإسلامي على الآليات والميكانيزمات التي تدفعه إلى تحقيق التنمية والإزدهار.
ولهذا سوف نحاول أن نركز على مفهوم التمويل في الإقتصاد الإسلامي والصيغ المختلفة التي يمكن تقديم بها هذا التمويل والشروط والضوابط التي تحطم هذه الصيغ وكيفية تطبيقها من طرف البنوك الإسلامية وعليه تقول: ما مدى فعالية تمويل المشاريع الإقتصادية من المنظور الإسلامي.
