حزب الإمام النووى أشهر على العلم من النار, وعلامة فضلة أنه وإن لم ينتسب لواحد من أصحاب الخرق, فقد ضمنه الصوفية مجاميع أورادهم وأفسحوا له المكان وأعطوه حقه من المكانة, وصار لهم به احتفاء مقرين بما أودعه الله فيه من الفضل. وليس الإمام النووى عنهم بالغريب بل هو منهم بلا تثيريب, تحدث بسيرهم وأثبت فضلهم وأخذ عنهم وانتسب إليهم فهوـــ وهو من هوـــ صوفى بلا مدافعة وإمام متأخرى الشافعية بلا مراجعة, فأعظم به من إمام اجتمع فيه علم الظاهر والباطن وتشرع وتحقيق فى كافة المواطن وتصوف وتفقه وهو للطائفتين صائن.
ولما كان الفضل إنما يعرفه ذووه, ليرتقوا ذروة سنامه ولا يذروه, فقد قام لشرح الورد خاتمة المصنفين الصوفية وإمام الدولة الخلوتية وقرة عين حضرة ثاني اثنين الصديقية سيدى مصطفى البكرى الصديقى رضى الله عنه وعن آبائه وذريته وخلفائه ونفعنا بهم ببركة سيد المرسلين صلى الله عليه وآله وصحبه وسلم أجمعين. فتوجب علينا وفاء بحق هذه الحضرات العلية أن نفسح لهذا الكنز الوجيز الكم, ذى الفضل الجم مكانه الائق فىالمكتبة الإسلامية ليلحق بهذا التراث الضخم من شروح أوراد السادة الصوفية.
وهذه الشروح لا تقف عند بيان معاني ألفاظ الورد, بل هى مهايع يسير فيها شراح الأوراد ناثرين فرائد علمهم ومعارفهم الشرعية والصوفية. ولا تخلو الشروح الاكثر شهرة من فرائد للشفاء من الداء وتيسير الأمور ودفع المشاق والنصر على الأعداء الظاهرة والباطنة, ولهذا حرص كثير من الشراح على تضمين شروحهم هذه الفوائد كدأب سيدى مصطفى البكرى فى شروحه. ولا تخلو كذلك من ملمح علمية وطرائف يستفرغ المصنفون جهدهم فى استخراجها من مظانها, وقد حوى هذا الشرح المبارك منها الكثير.كما لا تخلو الشروح من تقرير مذهب الصوفية ومشاربهم السلوكية كما وقع فى هذا الورد كذلك. وعلى الجملة فلا شك أن هذا الشرح سيتخذ مكانه فى مقدمة شروح الأوراد الصوفية.
