ذهبنا إلى منطقة الحسين وهي منطقة غريبة حيث تجذبك المباني القديمة والطراز المعماري لها حيث تشتم رائحة الماضي السحيق المرتبط بالحضارة الغربية من خلال زوار المنطقة الأجانب الذين يسرعون لأخذ الصور التذكارية بجوارنا كأننا تماثيل قديمة منذ الأزل لم يغيرها الزمن بجبروته والذي تغير هو الزمن حولنا بينما استمر وقوفنا في أماكنا مثل تلك التماثيل الصماء كنت أول مرة أحس أن للبشر قيمة لأخذ الصور ولكني قولت في نفسي البشر يحبون أيضاً أخذ صور للكوارث من أجل أن يراها الأخريين قريني كان متضايق من التصوير ومن الملابس التي يلبسوها فنحن أتينا لرحلة روحانية من أجل تعميق الإيمان بالله بينما القرين يعتقد أن هذه مفاسد وضلال يجب البعد عنها قريني أتى من قبل إلى هذا المكان بينما أنا كنت منذهل من الملابس ومن البيوت المشيدة ومن استمتاع الناس بالتدخين كانت قرقرة الشيشة تحرك في داخلي أيام الصبا التي تذكرت فيها عندما كنا صبية كنا نختفي عن الأنظار ويقوم أحد زملائنا بسرقة التبغ من أبيه ونضعهاعلى الشيشة التي قمنا بإختراعها من مواد بسيطة حتى عرف أقاربنا بالموضوع وأخذنا ضرباً مبرحاً.
