إن النصيحة كلمة جامعة، وهي من وجيز الأسماء ومختصر الكلام، أي: عماد الدين وقوامه النصيحة، والنصيحة لكتابه: الإيمان بأنه كلام الله تعالى وتنزيله، والنصيحة لرسوله: تصديقه، ومحبته، وطاعته، ونشر سنته، ومحبة أهل بيته وأصحابه، والنصيحة لأئمة المسلمين: معاونتهم على الحق، وطاعتهم، وتذكيرهم برفق، وإعلامهم بما غفلوا منه، وترك الخروج عليهم والنصيحة لعامة المسلمين: إرشادهم لمصالحهم في أمور آخرتهم ودنياهم، وإعادتهم، وستر عوراتهم، ودفع المضار عنهم، وجلب المنافع لهم، وأمرهم بالمعروف ونهيهم عن المنكر برفق وإخلاص، والشفقة عليهم، وتخولهم بالموعظة الحسنة.
