تسعي الاديان لمساعدتنا في اتخاذ خيارات اخلاقية لتطوير وعينا الانساني فأصبح الدين موضوعا للدراسة اكثر مما هو قضية مسلم بها في الحياة وقد اخذ علماء الاجتماع والفلاسفة وعلماء النفس والاحياء يدرسونه كل من منظاره الخاص .
