وبلا شك فإن مثل هذه الدراسات تتميز بالكثير من الحساسية، خصوصاً عندما تصدر في ظروف من الانقسامات والاتهامات المتبادلة بين الأطراف الفلسطينية. غير أن هذه الدراسة سعت قدر الإمكان لتقديم دراسة علمية موضوعية موثقة للسلوك الأمني للأطراف المعنية في هذه الفترة المهمة من التاريخ الفلسطيني.
