وهذه الدراسة ليست هى الأولى أو الوحيدة التى تتناول فن تحريري على جانب كبير من الأهمية بل يعتبر هو الأساس لباقي الفنون التحريرية الأخرى- ألا وهو الخبر الصحفي- فقط سبقنى في تناوله اساتذة أجلاء.
وقد حاولت جاهدا وقدر استطاعتي ان اتناول موضوع هذه الدراسة من خلال عدة فصول تناولت من خلالها مفهوم الصحافة والفن الصحفي ثم الخبر الصحفي وانواعه ومصادره ثم الأشكالالصحفية للمادة الخبرية في الصحف سواء يومية او اسبوعية ثم بعد ذلك تناولت عدة نماذج تطبيقية محاولا الجمع بين البعد والمدخل النظري وبين الدراسة التطبيقية.
