يا صاحبي ، كفاكما وكفاني .. عيناي من جراكما تكفان / أزعمتما في الشعر أن بضاعتي .. مزجية ، تُشتال في الميزان / أو تحسبان الشعر بضعة أحرفٍ ... مسكوبةٍ في قالب الأوزان / من شاء أكثر منه دون ملامةٍ .... أو شاء قلّلهُ بلا حُسبان / لو كان هذا الشعر ظنكما لما ... شكّلت في لوحاته ألواني / يا صاحبيّ ، الشعر أسمى غاية .. من أن يُرى فيه الذي تريان / ما الشعر إلا الغيث من قطراته .. يندى جفاءُ الطبع في الإنسان / مترفٌ أفئدةٌ ، وتحيا أنفسٌ ... وتطيب أسماعٌ وينشطُ وانِ / يا صاحبيّ ، الشعر لا يُلقى كما .. يلقيه محمومٌ من الهذيان / للشعر ساعته التي إن اقبلت ... غَلت الصدور كمرجل النيران / لا تطلبا نظم القصيد فُجاءةً .. منة وإلا اللوم تبتدرانِ / وعلام ريحكما تلوماني على ... شيءٍ ، ومالي فيه ثَمّ يدان ؟ ! / فإليكما عني فقد أسقمتما .. بدني ، وحلّ أذاكما بجناني / أنا لا أقول الشعر إلا إن بدا .. لي موقفٌ يهتز منه كياني / فإذا بدا انفجرت عيون قصائدٍ .. من منبع الإحساس والوجدان / تجري فتذوي الظامئات إذا استقت .. من عذب ألفاظٍ بها ومعانٍ / وتنبض في الآذان إذ هي أنصتت .. وتفيض في الأرواح والأبدان / فترى الرؤوس تميل من إعجابها ... طرباً ، وتبدي بسمة السّرحاني / وترى العيون تحار في أجفانها .. بالذكريات تراجع الأشجان / وترى على القسمات من نسماتها .. ذرّات من دُرٍّ ومن مرجان / وترى الوقور وقد توسّد كفّه .. متأملاً كالمطرق الحيوان / فإذا النساء نهلن من أبياتها .. أطلقن أفئدة لهن عواني / فتمور تسبح في المدى بخيالها .. وتحور تصدح للهوى بأمانِ / وتميل راقصة على أنغامها .. من رقّةٍ ؛ والبانُ ذو ميلان / وتشكّل السكنات من حركاتها .. في دقةٍ شهدت لها القدمان / وتهدّل التموان من أكمامها .. فتهل لولا الفرز في الأغصانِ / حتى تكاد قلوبهن إزاءها ... تنشق عن طرب من الخفقان / ما ذاك إلا أن في كلماتها .. ما أسحر الأبصار بالآذان / فهناك لي في الشعر رُقية شاعر ٍ ... نُفثت على عُقدٍ بسحر بياني / . في قصيدته هذه ، كما بقية قصائد هذا الديوان ، عبق الشعر القديم الذي لا يزول على رغم مرور السنين . تلجُ دومته الشعرية .. معطّراً أنفاسك بأنسام عناوين اتخذت من العاطفة رفيقاً .. وممتعاً ناظريك بصور ومشاهد رسمتها مباراة لطيفة ... ومؤنساً نفسك بإيقاع جعل من الحرس الموسيقي سلماً ووسيلة .. ومحلقاً مع خيالات شاعرٍ ارتقى بشعره مبنىً ومعنىً .. عاطفة وغرضاً .. هو الشعر بروعته ... والشاعر بإبداعاته التي لا تنتهي ..
