هو أول مشروع علمي يغوص في أعماق كتاب " رياض الصالحين" يسبر أغواره ويستكنه جوهره، حتى إذا اجتمعت له فوائده، واتضحت له معالمه، راح ينسق فكرته ويرتب مقصده ويجمع متفرقه ويرد شوارده فصار كتابا حافلا واضح الخطة سهل المآخذ غزير الفائدة. وهو عمل فذلا سابق له انجزه من عرف النووى رحمة الله ومذهبه وخبر مسلكه ومشربه وخالط بالحب روحه ومأدته فرتب وبوب وعنون ثم فسر الغامض والغريب ونبه على الدقيق والعجيب حتى صار البعيد منه كالقريب .. فمن قائل: فيا لقرة عين الشيخ بالمريد ومن قائل ، يا للذة نفس المحب بالحبيب.. وهو كتاب ينبغي أن لا تخلوا منه مكتبة مسلم وان يكون عمدة في حلقات الدرس في البيوت والمساجد والمدارس والمعاهد .. ولم لا وهو الإسلام بعينه وروحه وقد تمايزت أخلاقه وآدابه واستبانت فضائله ومكرماته وانتظمت شرائعه وأحكامه وازدانت ملحه ومنثوراته. فإذا كان هذا بعض ما في هذا العمل القديم الجديد فحري بأهل العناية أن يعضوا عليه بالنواجذ، وأن يكون معنى يتواصل به المؤمنون والدعاة المخلصون، أو رمزا يتهادى به في الأفراح والأعراس العشاق والمحبون أو طوق نجاة يسعف به طلاب الهداية والحائرون.
