دخلت الحركة الوطنية الفلسطينية الوليدة في صدامات متواليه مع العصابات الصهيونية المسلحة( سنوات 1920، 1921، 1924) قبل أن تتطور هذه الصدامات إلى هبة وطنية صيف 1929، ثم انتفاضة شعبية خريف 1933 فحركة ثورية (القسام) بعد سنتين والتى غدت "البروفة" الأخيرة لثورة 1939 بل إن القساميين هم الذين قدحوا الشرارة الأولى من هذه الثورة ، بعد خمسة أشهر من إخفاق قائدهم في إشعال نار ثورة مسلحة ، في أواسط نوفمبر / تشرين الثاني 1935. خلاصة القول إن ثورة 1936 الوطنية الفلسطينية مثلت الثمرة وقد اكتمل نضجها، بعد ان انشق الصف الصهيوني بخروج التصحيحيين - بقيادة فلاديمير جابوتنسكي- على القيادة الصهيونية، وبعد ان ارتج الانتداب البريطاني ، مع إلحاح الخطر النازي الألماني وبعد ان توغلت القيادة السياسية التقليدية الفلسطينية في مأزقها وبعد أن أكد القسام، باستشهاده ، أن الثورة على الأعداء ليست ضرورية وواجبة فحسب، بل ممكنة، أيضا.
