هذا الكتاب منظومة رجزية، ألفية؛ فقهية، عذبة المنهل في الألفاظ، رائعة المورد للحفاظ وضعها العلامة أحمد بن عمر الشاطري (1312- 1360هـ) من بحر الإمام الشافعي من كتابه الذائع الصيت "الشافي الأنيس في نظم الياقوت النفيس" وهو كتاب في الفقه، على مذهب الإمام محمد إدريس الشافعي، ولذلك عمد الناظم الشاطري إلى تقريب هذا المتن، ليسهل حفظه وفهمه بأسلوب رائع وشيق، وزينه ببعض التعليقات لما أشكل أو أبهم من النظم، فأزال الخفاء ببيانه وذوقه الرفيع لبعض تلك الكلمات والمفردات اللغوية، فكمل المبنى والمعنى، وقد ذيله على النظم "الشافي الأنيس" بحاشية لطيفة، تجل رموزه، وتفك مغاليقه مسترشداً بما سطره الأئمة من فقه عميق نافع. يقوم على الإستشهاد لأحكام المسائل بأدلتها الشرعية، كما قررها فقهاء الإسلام مشيداً بشيوخه وكل من سانده في إنجاز هذا العمل.
هذا، وقد تضمنت هذه المنظومة أحكام فقهية على مذهب الإمام الشافعي في: الطهارة، والصلاة، والزكاة، والصوم، والإعتكاف، والحج والعمرة، والبيوع والمعاملات، والفرائض، والنكاح وما يتعلق به، وحدود القصاص، والجهاد، والصيد والذبائح، والإيمان والنذور، والقضاء، والعتق وغيرها.
