جورج ويلهلم فريدريش هيغل (بالألمانية: Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel) (ولد 27 أغسطس 1770 — 14 نوفمبر 1831) فيلسوف ألماني ولد في شتوتغارت، فورتيمبيرغ، في المنطقة الجنوبية الغربيةِ من ألمانيا.
يعتبر هيغل أحد أهم الفلاسفة الألمان حيث يعتبر أهم مؤسسي حركة الفلسفة المثالية الألمانية في أوائل القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي.
Book Description
يمثل كتاب "حياة يسوع" مرحلة من الطريق التي إجتازها فكر هيجل بين عام 1790 و1800. فقد كتبه في العام 1795، مكانت صياغته واقعة تحت التأثير المباشر لكتاب كانط عن الدين.
اهتمامات هيجل هنا خلقية وليست تاريخية، والمهمة التي انتدب نفسه لها سبق أن حددها كانط بقوله إنه يمكن إجراء التجربة التالية: لنتفحص الوحي، بما هو مذهب تاريخي، بطريقة مجزأة، فلا نتناول منه سوى المفاهيم الخلقية، ولنر إذا كان سيقودنا، بهذه الطريقة إلى مذهب عقلي خالص للدين.
في "حياة يسوع" يسعى هيجل إلى أن يظهر، بمثل عيني، الصراع بين دين خالص، هو مذهب يسوع، وبين دين وضعي متحجر في شكلية صارمة، دين خارجي تماماً، هو الدين اليهودي، وإلى أن يؤكد السيادة الخلقية للشخص بالنسبة إلى كل ناموس يردي أن يفرض نفسه عليه من الخارج. وهذه هي مهمة هيجل في كتابه.
