منذ أن ألف أبو بكر بن مجاهد كتابه (السبعة في القراءات) وما زال العلماء يكتبون في القراءات ومنهم من زاد على السبعة فجمع القراءات الثمان أو العشر أو الخمسين كأبي القاسم بن جبارة في كتابه (الكامل في القراءات الخمسين)، ومن العلماء من كتب في أقل من ذلك فكتب في القراءات الست أو الثلاث أو أفرد كل قراءة على حدة، ومنها كتاب "أحلى دروسي في رواية السوسي" الذي جمعه المؤلف بأُسلوب سهل مبسط عن طريق ذكر أصول رواية السوسي التي تخالف رواية حفص ثم ذكر الكلمات التي تخالف حفصاً، كل سورة على حدة بحيث يسهل على طالب العلم معرفة الفرق في النطق بين هذه الرواية وبين رواية حفص المشهورة في معظم العالم الإسلامي.
