قال عنه الحافظ ابن كثير - رحمه الله - في البداية والنهاية: " المشهور بالتصانيف الكثيرة، النافعة، الشائعة، الذائعة في الرقائق وغيرها، وكان صدوقاً، حافظاً، ذا مروءة ".
Book Description
يسلط الضوء على خلقين من أخلاق الإسلام وهما "الحلم" و"التوكل على الله"، ونحن في أمس الحاجة إليهما في هذا العصر الذي زادت فيه العصبية والنرجسية من ناحية، وانتشر التواكل والانتهازية من ناحية أخرى. إن صلاح العالم يحتاج إلى وقفة مع النفس، نعود فيها إلى التحلي بالحلم وضبط النفس، والتخلي عن الغضب، وذلك بعد أن ساد العالم جو من التوتر، وانتهاك الحرمات، واعتداء على الحريات، والهجوم الوحشي على المقدسات.
وهذا هو المقصود من دعوتنا إلى الحلم التي يتبناها هذا الكتاب، الذي يتضمن أيضًا بداخله كتاب "التوكل على الله" وهو بدوره يحث على بذل الجهد وإتقان العمل، وإخلاص النية، بعيدًا عن السلبية والجري وراء الأماني ويحارب التواكل والاستهتار والانتهازية. إننا لو توكلنا على الله حق توكله لرزقنا كما يرزق الطير، ولبارك في خطانا وكلل مسعانا بالنجاح والتوفيق.
