ويستعرض هذا الكتاب في فصوله بعض الأمراض الشائعة ذات الأهمية الطيبة والتي تنتقل للإنسان فيصاب ويأوي في جسده الأوالي أو الديدان المؤذية ، ثم بيان أماكن تواجدها أو توطنها مع سرد لدورة حياة العامل المسبب للمرض ( الطفيلي) ثم الأضرار الناجمة عنه والعوامل التي تساعد علي انتشاره في البيئة، وكيفية الوقاية وتجنب الإصابة بها, والكتاب هو باكورة سلسلة في علم التطفل باللغة العربية بإذن الله تعالي، ونسعي بإذن الله في أن تدنو الطبعات التالية إلي الكمال وإلي إضافات جديدة تحوي الجديد في علم الطفيليات.
وأنهي الكتاب بشرح بعض المصطلحات التي قد وردت في المعلومات ، وزود بالمراجع الأجنبية التي ساهمت في إنجازه, وأخيراً ارجو من الله سبحانه وتعالي أن يوفقني في عملي وأن يتقبل هذا العمل خالصاً لوجهه الكريم وأن ينفع به كل طالب علم.
