أساطير اليهود، هى تلك الأساطير التى قامت عليها الدولة اليهودية، ووجتها، مما يعطينا فكرة ممتازة عن طريقة تكوين دولة إسرائيل، وتفكير اليهود، ونظرتهم إلى الله تعالى، والملائكة، والأنبياء. وأساس هذه الأساطير تعود إلى الماضى السحيق، حيث لجأ إليها اليهود فى البداية كما للتسلية، ثم تغيرت واتجهت إلى نقد التاريخ. فالتاملات الدينية فى الطبيعة وانتهى بها الأمر إلى أن صارت أحد أهم محاور الدولة اليهودية وتأسيسها. فهذه الأساطير تضمنت الكثير من الخرافات، ولاقصص الخيالية الى ليس لها أساس من الصحة، ولكنها راجت واستخدمها الوعاظ لأغراض تعليمية، بهدف تأسيس علاقة وثيقة بين هذه الأساطير والنصوص المقدسة.
