هدى حمد (سلطنة عُمان) كاتبة من مواليد الرستاق، سلطنة عُمان، عام 1981. حاصلة على ليسانس في الأدب العربي من جامعة حلب، سوريا، وهي صحفية سابقة بجريدة عُمان، القسم الثقافي، وتعمل حاليا منسقة تحرير في مجلة "نزوى" الثقافية. صدرت لها ثلاث مجموعات قصصية وثلاث روايات: "الأشياء ليست في أماكنها" التي فازت بالمركز الأول عن مسابقة الإبداع العربي بالشارقة، كما حازت على المركز الأول كأفضل إصدار عُماني لعام 2009، هدى حمد (سلطنة عُمان) كاتبة من مواليد الرستاق، سلطنة عُمان، عام 1981. حاصلة على ليسانس في الأدب العربي من جامعة حلب، سوريا، وهي صحفية سابقة بجريدة عُمان، القسم الثقافي، وتعمل حاليا منسقة تحرير في مجلة "نزوى" الثقافية. صدرت لها ثلاث مجموعات قصصية وثلاث روايات: "الأشياء ليست في أماكنها" التي فازت بالمركز الأول عن مسابقة الإبداع العربي بالشارقة، كما حازت على المركز الأول كأفضل إصدار عُماني لعام 2009، "التي تعد السلالم" رواية صدرت عن دار الآداب وكانت ضمن الروايات الست في ورشة محترف نجوى بركات عام 2014، و"سندريلات مسقط" (2016). شاركت هدى حمد في كتابة بعض حلقات أول مسلسل كرتوني عُماني "يوم ويوم"، كما ترأست تحرير أول مجلة إلكترونية متخصصة في عروض الكتب في سلطنة عمان، مجلة "أكثر من حياة".

"في المرة القادمةِ لن أكون جبانةً، سأقولُ بأني لا أحبُّ امي وبأنها عبءٌ كبيرٌ على أحلامي، سأقولُ أشياء كثيرةً ولن أشعرَ بالخجلِ كالأخرياتِ اللواتي يدّعينَ أن أمهاتِهن صالحات.. أمي لا تفعلُ شيئاً سوى إسداءِ الأوامرِ والتنبيهات، تتعاملُ معي وكأني لا أجيدُ فعلَ شيءٍ في الحياة دون تلك المراقبةِ التي تقترفُها كلَّ يوم، وهي تقررُ كلَ شيءٍ بالنيابةِ عني".
