أما الكتاب الثاني فهو للشيخ "مهدي بن إبراهيم الصُنبري" وفيه يتحدث المصنف عن علم الطبيعة، وعن طبائع الأغذية والأدوية، وما يصلح للبدن حاله الصحة، وعلاج الأمراض العامة والخاصة بالأعضاء، أما عمل المحققان فقد تجلى بـ وضع ترجمة لعلمي الكتابين، وضع حواشي للكتاب، وفهارس عامة للموضوعات.
