من أمتع الكتب التي جاءت في فضل الصلاة على سيدنا رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" كتاب الإمام السخاوي: "القول البديع في الصلاة على الحبيب الشفيع"، وقد رتبه الإمام السخاوي على مقدمة وخمسة أبواب وخاتمة: [المقدمة: تحتوي على تعريف الصلاة، والأبواب: (الباب الأول: في الأمر بالصلاة على رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم" وكيفية ذلك على اختلاف أنواعه، الباب الثاني: جاء في ثواب الصلاة على رسول الله "صلى الله عليه وسلم"، الباب الثالث: في التحذير من ترك الصلاة عليه عندما يذكر "صلى الله عليه وسلم" بالدعاء، الباب الرابع: في تبليغه سلام من يسلم عليه، الباب الخامس: جاء في الصلاة عليه "صلى الله عليه وسلم" في أوقات مخصوصة كالفراغ من الوضوء، وفي الصلاة، وعند إقامتها وعقبها، وتأكد ذلك بعد صلاة الصبح والمغرب، وفي التشهد والقنوت وعند القيام للتهجد، وعند المرور بالمساجد ودخولها والخروج منها، الخاتمة: في جواز العمل بالحديث الضعيف في فضائل الأعمال وما يشترك في ذلك، وفيها أمور مهمة.)].
