هذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك، يعد واحداً من أفضل ما كتب في الأخلاق العملية بلحاظ: أولاً، إختصاره وتركيزه: فإن خير الكلام ما قل ودل، سواء في عالم الملفوظات أو المكتوبات. ثانياً، جامعيته وإعتداله وعدم التركيز على مجال على حساب مجال آخر: فالبعض ينظر إلى الأخلاق من زاوية العبادات اللفظية، فينتقل من ورد إلى ورد، ومن ختمة إلى ختمة، ومن أربعينية إلى أربعينية، وكأن العبد يتحول إلى عالم الملكوت في ليلة واحدة بورد معين، ناسياً أن الطريق هو ما دعا إليه القرآن من الإستقامة والمجاهدة والسعي في العمل بكل حذافير الشريعة، بدء بالأمور الفردية من القيام بالواجبات وترك المحرمات، ومروراً بالمستحبات والمكروهات، وإنتهاءاً بالأمور الإجتماعية، ولو إستلزم أن يكون قتالاً في الميدان مع أعداء الله تعالى، وقد أشار الكاتب في مطاوي الكتاب إلى صور من هذه الجامعية التي إتسم بها هذا التأليف. ثالثاً، واقعيته، حيث نرى المؤلف يميل إلى عرض الأخلاق كصور تطبيقية يلتزم بها الإنسان عند الممارسة، بدلاً من مجموعة من الأفكار المعقدة التي هي أشبه بالطلاسم والألغاز. رابعاً، إلتزامه بمنهج أهل البيت: فلا يكاد المؤلف يدع مجالاً إلا وإستشهد فيها بحديث مأثور مما روي عن هداة الخلق، مما يعكس عمق إلتزام المؤلف بضرورة عرض كل كبيرة وصغيرة في الحركة إلى الله تعالى على ما ورد عنهم. وأخيراً جعل المؤلف لكلماته حلاوة يستذوقها كل من قرأ كتابه، ممن أوتي حسن التذوق في هذا المجال... فإن ما يخرج من القلب يدخل في القلب.
