إن النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم أعظم الخلق، فله عند ربه مقام عظيم، وقدر جليل، فاق كل الخلائق أجميعين، فهو سيد ولد آدم، بل هو سيد الأكوان وصفوتها، ولا يعرف حقيقة وعظيم قدره إلا خالقه سبحانه وتعالى وهذا أمر مسلم عند المسلمين جميعا، كما شهد به العديد من مفكري الغرب المنصفين. وقد مدح الله سبحانه وتعالى نبيه الكريم بما هو أهل له ، فقال ( وإنك لعلى خلق عظيم) وجوانب العظمة في شخصية النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم كثيرة جداً لدرجة يصعب حصرها، فهو الرحمة المهداة إلى الإنسانية فى كل زمان ومكان، قالى تعالى( وما أرسلنك إلا رحمة للعلمين) وهو المعلم الذي أخرج البشرية من الظلمات إلى النور، ومن ضيق الدنيا إلى سعة الدنيا والآخرة، ومن عبادة العباد إلى عبادة رب العباد.
