وأهل العلم قد أَلَّفوا في أحكامها وآدابها كتباً كثيرة، ومن هذه المؤلَّفات كتاب ’تحفة الراكع والساجد بأحكام المساجد‘، للعلامة الشيخ أبي بكر بن زيد الجراعي الصالحي الحنبلي (ت 883ﻫ) رحمه الله تعالى، يشتمل على الأحكام والفضائل، المختصة بالمسجد الحرام، ومسجد النبي عليه أفضل الصلاة والسلام، ومسجد الأقصى وغيرها من مساجد الإسلام.
ولحاجة الناس لمثل هذه المصنَّفات والمؤلَّفات، التي تشتمل على الأحكام والآداب، ومساهمة في نشر العلم أقدِّم هذا الكتاب لِمَا فيه من بيان أحكام المساجد وآدابها وعمارتها وفضلها وما ينبغي على المسلمين تجاهها.
