إتسم العصر وقادته -معظمهم - أن لهم موقف من الإسلام ونظرة لاتنم عن خيراً وحتى فكرة صحيحة عن هذا الدين، وفى المقابل أيضاً ظهرت المؤلفات عن الدين الإسلامي واحترامه للآخر وبعده عن صوره دين القتل والإرهاب وما إلى ذلك من أوجه تناولها العديد من المؤلفين. ولكن الجديد الذى يقدمه هذا المؤلف فى كتابه أنه عندما سمع إتهامات للإسلام من شخصيات مسيحية طرأت على ذهنه عدد من التساؤلات أجاب عنها على صفحات هذا الكتاب أسائلة درات حول حرية العقيدة و الرأى فى الدين المسيحى، وضع كل تساؤل منها على حدة نذكر منها هل يترك الفاتيكان باب حرية الفكر مفتوحاً للمسيحين ، هل ألوهية المسيح تصدر بقرار بشرى؟! وما هو عدد أسفار الكتاب المقدس وعن أى إنجيل يتحدثون ؟! وأين العدل فى صلب المسيح ؟ وغيرها العديد من الأسئلة المنطقية و البديهية يجيب عنها المؤلف ( طارق فوزى) بطريقة محايدة إلتزم فيها الجدل بالتى هى أحسن فلم يخرج عن نطاق كونها تساؤلات أجيب عنها فى هذا الكتاب.
